I brought my 1999 Silverado in because the transmission started to” kickback” when I came to a stop. A total rebuilt transmission was going to cost about $1500. Which is a lot of money to spend for a 11 year truck. The owner suggested a complete transmission service which entails changing the fluid and filter and repacking- greasing the drive shaft yoke. It came to $250 and was ready in an hour and a half. The truck runs like new. My friends were right. If you have a transmission problem take it to Cheesborough’s
